2026 Las Vegas Get Together

Fellow Wizards!

Due to excellent feedback from the attendees of our recent Vegas bash, we've decided to do it again next summer! Craig, Sam and I have decided on 7/12-7/17, 2026 at the Sunset Station casino in Henderson (thanks to Chip for the recon). We'll plan on the same format as last time: arrival on Sunday the 12th, in book play the 13th thru 16th with evening prep work and travel home Friday the 17th.

Sunset Station does have some desks with power sockets (book was remodeled 5/24 so we don't expect that to change) and plenty of tables for our needs. The hotel has reasonable rates that week and a good selection of restaurants in and around the resort.

Come join us if you can, we all had a great time last month!!

It looks like a really nice property. Our own Polish Pony uses it for his home base…we checked in with him just to get a 2nd opinion and he raves about it. I know it’s almost a year away but people have lives, jobs and families to juggle so we figured a long heads up was the way to go.

I truly miss not being able to make it this year but have marked this down and will plan on it.

Business for us is not good and there is high probability I will be truly retired by then. After these past few weeks, when I thought things were picking up, nah... now actually hoping it works out that way. I'm sick of the working world.

The change to Sunset Station appears to be a great call. I'm all for it. And I have friends who live in Henderson too.
Next July it is...

Will log into chat this weekend to play some.. I've now got some new health issues: added a cardiologist to the mix today. Just getting old and need to monitor some shit. But I will live.
