Scratchsoft, Inc. acquires Value Tech

My Fellow Wizards,
Many of you will have already received an email with this announcement, but just in case you missed it, I have included much of it here:
I am excited to announce that Value Tech, Inc. has agreed to sell its software, data, media content, and other related business assets to Scratchsoft, Inc. The official news has been posted on the Post Time Daily website.
The deal is effective immediately.
Now, for those of you wondering -- who, exactly, is “Scratchsoft”?
Scratchsoft, Inc. is the software development company that I founded nearly two decades ago, with our most prominent client being Michael's Post Time Solutions (and later, Value Tech). When Michael designed Post Time Daily, BLAM, and ValueCapper, it was Scratchsoft that wrote and maintained the actual software. Personally, it has been the privilege of a lifetime to have worked with and learned from Michael for 18 years. Because of this relationship, and the knowledge of how the software has been designed and written, I am confident that we can not only maintain Michael’s vision, but build upon it for many years to come.
To summarize the official announcement, very little will change on a day-to-day basis. And, most importantly, there is nothing you need to do: your existing account will continue to work, and all existing software, data, services and websites will continue to operate as normal.
IMPORTANT NOTE: As part of the acquisition, all credit card payments will now be submitted through our new payment processor. As such, some card issuers – particularly those with extra stringent security measures -- may “flag” the first charge to your account, as your relationship with Scratchsoft, Inc. is new to them. This is unfortunate but also commonplace when a corporate change like this happens. If your card is declined, we ask that you please reach out to your card issuer and assure them that the transaction is legitimate. Charges made to your account will appear as “PostTimeDaily.com” on your credit card statement.
Going forward, our mission remains: to provide the best tools to increase your success – and joy – of this game we love so much. Over the months ahead, I look forward to sharing the projects we have been working on.
Thank you all so much for your loyalty over the years and I look forward to serving you as a Scratchsoft customer for many more years to come!
