Software Update: Live Tote Odds

Never mind - once the update ran and I restarted Valuecapper, all good!

Hmmm. Not giving me the tab to enable the tote when I click the man icon. Had similar issue when the following feature was rolled out.

Did you activate them in your settings? Click on the “man” icon

This is a question to Craig, Sam & Bob. In the beta testing, what happens when a horse scratches between the opening of betting on a race? Did this happen? Is the horse just stuck with the last tick of the tote when scratched? Or does the horse automatically get scratched on VC? Thanx.............Rob

Enjoying the feature watching the races live today.
Now I'm going to get greedy in terms of feature requests
It would be great to have a "minutes to post" indicator so that I don't have to keep figuring this out by looking at the clock on the taskbar.
Maybe something like this below.

Ha-Ha! That is greedy, but I couldn't believe Craig got the tote data to work as smooth as it does. Great job and thanks to all involved, and I'll check those videos out as well.

Hi Rob,

The horse will NOT be automatically scratched, but its Tote odds will show as a blank. We toyed with the idea of automatically scratching horses when this happens, but it could cause confusion -- horses suddenly disappearing from the summary grid, VC odds line changes, etc. -- so we decided to let the user to handle this manually.

Craig, If one is paying attention to the race being invested in, to me, to personally scratch the horse is wise. It's no different from what we have been doing for years. I am good. Thank you..........Rob

Today, we are releasing a software update for ValueCapper and Black Magic which includes a new Live Tote Odds feature. Everyone will get the update, but only active Wizards' Membership subscribers can enable the Tote Odds feature.

What a great addition live odds brings to ValueCapper! And on the anniversary month of Michael's passing, too. I'm sure he is smiling down on you today. Great job!

The biggest effect can be seen on the ValueTech tab, naturally. No more need to 'Set Board Odds'! Yippee!

This just might be the greatest update to ValueCapper I've seen in quite a while. Great job.

Great addition, Craig. This helps immensely. Having the tote odds in BLAM, I don't have to go back and forth from the race app to BLAM to structure wagers. Much appreciated.
