Software Update: Live Tote Odds

Agreed, Craig did an excellent programming job as usual. Sam and I have been beta testing daily for the past 3 weeks or so...never found any "bugs", just a couple of rough edges which Craig was able to clean up. I must admit, I was very "meh" about live odds since I watch all the video feeds anyway but after using it, I've found it quite useful in pointing out the bets without having to click through all the feeds...especially on busy weekend days.

Yes, Craig has always been “X”….he’s the one that puts the ideas we throw at him into code and I think you all agree he’s damn good at it! Michael wanted to maintain a cloak of privacy so that he wasn’t bombarded with silly technical questions that were easily answered through the Forum.

If you have a software or hardware issue, posting it on the Forum will always get you the quickest response.

I hadn't planned on doing a how-to video, as I figured it was pretty straightforward -- just a new column in the Summary Grid. But, if there's demand for it, I can put a quick video together.

I agree with Bob this new feature is far more useful than you may initially think.
We all know how easy it is to miss a nice-paying bet in the heat of battle.
It could be a trip to the bathroom, a phone call, or one of 100 other reasons.
Live odds within Valuecapper will help the value-capper spot overlays in a time frame
we never had previously.

Michael once gave me a few lessons playing live with him. I showed him a horse I liked in NY. An animal I thought had a chance to wire the field at a monster price. I lost track of time and the horse paid over $60. I was so aggravated with myself for not getting that bet down and visibly showed it. Michael gave me a few thoughts...

"Take the bet and prepare to lose it"
"Opportunities show up when you do"
"Sammy you have one Job- Get the bet in!"

Live odds will be especially helpful in finding those nonobvious board plays should the player decide to back them.

Hmmm. Not giving me the tab to enable the tote when I click the man icon. Had similar issue when the following feature was rolled out.
