New Updates: VC 2.4, BLAM 1.4, and PTD 2.4

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to give a quick announcement re: today's software updates. All 3 titles are being updated with relatively small changes, much having to do with "rebranding" as a result of the acquisition.

However, I did want to point out a couple of other additions:

1) In ValueCapper 2.4, if you have made changes to your preferences such that they differ from the factory defaults, we now display a small "delta" triangle next to the number of unknowns. If you click this triangle, it will show you exactly which settings you have modified:

This will hopefully come in handy when sharing screenshots of races: there are times when one user's Oddsline differs from another's. If you see a triangle, that will likely explain why there may be a discrepancy.

2) When using the Live Tote feature, it is sometimes possible for the races to get out of sort. That's because, in addition to fetching the live tote odds, both BLAM and VC will also update the post time for the next race on each card, if it has changed. However, none of the subsequent races get updated, which could lead to, for example, the 7th race at GP being listed before the 6th race. These new updates should now alleviate this issue.

You should see the update automatically upon starting any of the software. If you don't, please click on "Check for Software Updates" from the Help menu.


IMPORTANT NOTE for users of ValueCapper 2.2.3
If you are running version 2.2.3 of ValueCapper, you will not see the update, even if you click the "Check for Software Updates" menu item. This is due to a bug in that specific version of the software. Instead, please download and install the latest version of the software using the instructions here. I apologize for the inconvenience.
