I did all of the above and now VC won't open. The hour glass goes on and then off and VC won't open. Any ideas?

Do you have any antivirus or internet security software installed? You may need to tell it to allow ValueCapper (or any .exe file containing "ValueCapper") to run.

If VC still won't open, I would try rebooting your PC and then try again.

I tried the same on my tablet and it did the same thing with VC. The funny thing is it worked perfectly when i updated Black Magic. Now I don't have VC on either computer. They both have widows 8.1

To be honest, we didn't test much with anything other than Windows 10 or 11. If BLAM is running OK, then I doubt that's the issue. Are you running VC with the BLAM green dongle attached? There can sometimes be issues when both dongles are connected at the same time.

Another thing to try: install VC manually from the following link. https://services.posttimedaily.com/soft ... 2.2/latest.

I got VC from your link and tried it on my wife's laptop with windows 10. Worked just fine.
So if it's windows 8.1 is there a fix on your end ? If not can you send a link to my last version of VC?
I use a desktop at home all day and laptop for travel. Wife uses her laptop all day. Or buy me a new laptop and desktop.....

John, we think we've located the cause of your problem. It's an issue on our end and will require a new release. However, that will likely not be until next week.

I love the new feature that allows you to show BLAM features on the VC screen. I have re-configured the VC screen incorporating the BLAM features I use and going forward, I will now use the VC screen instead of BLAM, incorporating IMO the best features of each. I will also share my notes and starred races. I usually play on Saturday and Sundays.

I am a little cautious about adjusting TPPs that I think are out of whack until I have more experience with that feature.

Thx Sam for the feedback on the Follow Me race I posted.

I see comments in Follow Me on one of the races I noted (where there was a scratch). Did anyone else share Follow Me that I should be able to see (not seeing any others, have the boxed checked to follow all...just wondering if I have to do something else to see it).

Also I tried to type in the Follow Me screen (a reply to Sam's note) but am unable to add/edit. Update button seemed to work (it changed the time/date) but cant seem to add anything to the comments I made (nor add a new one)

EDIT: NM...I need to edit the Notes, then hit update and it goes in Follow Me. User error - as I expected.\

EDIT2: ah, need to click "following" (where you click my races to see those that are shared )
