Bob - Given MP's relationship with the casino, can one of the elders reach out and see if they could block off a group of 10ish seats for the group??

Bummed I can't make it...maybe in 2027 or 28. Next year, using all my PTO for a trip to Asia

Someone was asking about betting kiosks at Palace Station. I found a few articles saying they had them, this was the most current.

Another option, if you frequent NV on occasion, is to download and fund the Station Casinos Sports app. This is the route I’ll likely take. The app is easy to use and you never have to leave your seat to place a race or sports bet. I have one I normally use but I want to give PS some business since we’ll be taking up space in their facility.

Hey .. been a difficult few days. Our region got hit real hard with flooding and all of Texas is dealing with grief at the loss of life (lots of young girls at Camp Mystic). Still don't know final numbers. Our house and neighborhood here escaped relatively unscathed, just lots of rain and some cleanup.. so we are very grateful for that. The hardest hit areas are about a 35-55 min. drive west/northwest of us and relatively close to the river.

My other news is I'm not going to make it to our Vegas meet-up after all; work has started to come back for us after a year long dry spell and we now expect it to kick off that week in ernest. And unfortunately, it's not something I can do 'remotely', from Vegas while playing and seeing you all.

Hope we can make this a regular thing and I'll do my best to see you all next time. [Yeah, I really need to retire! {2 more years, tops}]

Matt..

So Gents we are a couple of days away from the trip to the desert....its getting real!

Can we get a head count and itinerary? I think Bob will be there Sunday morning? Frank are you in Saturday?

I will be arriving on Saturday maybe 12-2 depending on flights etc...departing at 9:30 on Thursday.

I have been watching IG posts about the oyster bar at the Palace, they say it's one of the best in LV...oh boy...

I won’t be in until likely 2pm on Sunday. It’s an 8 hour drive with gas and potty breaks. I don’t eat seafood but Sammy loves the Oyster Bar, mostly for the clam chowder. There’s usually a pretty good line so he has it for breakfast 😳

Sam and Craig fly in Sunday evening. Sam and I plan to be in the racebook early each day, we’ll break for dinner at some point and then we’ll return to the racebook afterwards if anyone wants to look at the next day’s races. Craig has a lot of other responsibilities between PostTime support and the other projects he works on…he’ll join us as his schedule allows.
